3 years! I can't believe it!  Three years ago this week my first western  - The Ways of the West - was published! It all started when I discovered the old TV show Rawhide . You know, that long cattle drive from Texas to Abilene where all the drovers encountered different problems along the trail? My characters, and my story, were loosely inspired by that show. Most of my other books have been inspired by life... but as I wasn't alive back in the old Wild West days (and I live in entirely the wrong country) I get western inspiration from books, movies, and  telly shows instead.  Johnny, and Mr Jordan, remain two of my favourite characters to this day. Here's the blurb: Orphaned by an attack on her family’s wagon train, Jessica finds herself stranded a thousand miles from Boston, the only home she has ever known. Only one man—a rough, dusty cowboy named Johnny—stands between her and the perils of the West, and he quickly makes it clear...

Cody’s t-shirt.  The cool breeze kissed that private place between her legs and she shivered.  Then Luke’s rough, callused hand crashed against her bottom so hard it reverberated through her whole body.  He caught the base of her bottom, right where she sat, in an upward swinging motion, his fingers narrowly missing the edge of her pussy.  Then he smacked the crest of her bottom in a hard, fast flurry of burning swats that made her squirm. She yelped.  Already, her bottom was burning with just those few swats. He pinched her bottom and l...

Thanks for joining me for this weeks  Saturday Spankings blog hop . This week, I've got some exciting news - this is my 2nd authorversary!!   Yes that's right - it's been my dream forever to be a published author and that dream came true 2 years ago this week when  Blushing Books  published my first spanky novel  Bracken Ridge! Buy it on Amazon       Buy it on Blushing Books       Buy it on Barnes & Noble J eremy narrowed his eyes at her then kicked the tack room door shut with a bang. Grabbing a stirrup leather off the wall, he pushed her forward over an empty saddle horse and held her down with one hand in the small of her back. Stunned, Anna lay there for a minute without resisting, and then she realised what was going on. She tried to stand up, but Jeremy held her down. “Stay still,” he ordered her sternly. Then he spanked her hard with the stirrup leather. Anna wriggled and kicked and Jeremy stop...

Daddy Takes the Reins

Image
Welcome to my blog for  #WipItUpWednesday! My new release  Daddy Takes the Reins  is a book that's pretty close to my heart for several reasons. First, I've got Tourette's Syndrome, just like my heroine, Bianca. The experiences she goes through due to her tics are similar to things I have gone through myself. Second, I'm passionate about horses, and the incredible healing a powerful bond with a horse can bring. A few years ago, I was a volunteer for Riding for the Disabled and it was so rewarding, seeing the kids come alive in the saddle, communicating with their favourite horses in their own special way. Third, this book is set in New Zealand. I'm pretty proud of my country, and think it's a great place to live and raise a family. I've tried to incorporate a bit of the Kiwi way of life into this book, too. Amazon         Barnes & Noble         All Romance ebooks     ...

Thanks for visiting my blog for the  #6BestHop !  I've got some great news to share - my new book is out! Daddy Takes the Reins is set on a racing stable here in New Zealand.  It touches on Age-Play just a bit, and the heroine has Tourette's Syndrome, just like me. BLURB: When she lands a job as an apprentice jockey at a racing stable, Bianca is determined not to let her Tourette’s Syndrome interfere with her dream career, and she does her best to conceal her occasional tics from her ridiculously handsome new boss. But Clay Lewis is not an easy man to fool. He soon discovers her secret, and when he casually mentions that she ought to be spanked for her deception it sets Bianca’s heart racing like nothing ever has before. Her crush on Clay grows stronger by the day, but while she strives to impress him at work Bianca struggles to deal with tragic circumstances in her own life. With her younger sister—and lifelong best friend—incapacitated by termin...

For this week's  #SatSpanks  I have the most exciting news to share - I have a new book coming out this weekend! It may or may not be here in time for this blog hop, but I can share the blurb, cover and excerpt anyway :) Daddy Takes the Reins is my favourite book so far, I think, I really loved writing it. It's set on a racing stable here in New Zealand and, just like me, the heroine has Tourette's Syndrome. As the name suggests, it touches on Age-Play, and my hero is the sweetest, sexiest, but sternest and dominant alpha male you could ever hope to meet. Get it on AMAZON now! She nodded. That sounded fair. “I’m glad you agreed to that, little girl,” he told her, and winked. Then his voice took on a stern tone. “Because when little girls are naughty, they go across their daddy’s knee, their pants get pulled down, and their bottoms get smacked. It would be most unfortunate if you found yourself in that position now, wouldn’t it?”  He winked again. “...

For this week's #WipItUpWednesday I have some great news! I'm so excited to announce that my first-ever Age Play title is coming this weekend! Daddy Takes the Reins is set on a racing stable here in New Zealand and, just like me, the heroine has Tourette's Syndrome. I'm totally in love with this story, I think it's the best one I've written so far, and I really hope you all love it too! The hugely talented Korey Mae Johnson is responsible for this gorgeous cover: Excerpt: S he sat on the edge of the bath, resting against him, watching while he squirted shower gel into the running water to make suds. Despite still feeling so wobbly on her feet, so weak and dizzy, she smiled. How long had it been since she’d had a bubble bath? She couldn’t remember.            She didn’t protest when Clay undid the buttons on her shirt, gently easing it back off her shoulders. She didn’t complain when he slid her jodhpurs down...

Welcome to my blog for this week's  Saturday Spankings!    I've got a new book coming out later this month - an erotic spanky romance set on a NZ horse racing stable. The heroine has Tourette's Syndrome (just like me), there's plenty of drama and action and it touches a bit on Age-Play. I think this is my favourite book so far! The sexy Chris Hemsworth - inspiration for Clay He carried her down to his bedroom and laid her carefully on his bed and she couldn’t help but sigh in contentment.  The bed was so soft, and he had such a wicked gleam in his eye.  She was barefoot.  Kneeling down on the floor in front of her, he rested his hands lightly on her ankles, his light touch sending her pulse racing.   His eyes roamed over her body, following the curves of her legs as they disappeared underneath the fabric, his piercing blue gaze traveling up to meet her eyes.  Her breathing was ragged as his hands followed his gaze, his fingers...

#6BestHop NZ Spanky #romance

Sunday's Six of the Best  blog hop is where authors share 6 paragraphs of a hot release or WIP.  I'm going with a WIP this week - this book is set in a New Zealand racing stable and my heroine has Tourette's - just like me! It's currently being edited and will be due for release later this month! First of all, let me share one of the pics I used for inspiration:  And here's my excerpt: (sorry I cheated again, this is a bit longer than 6 paragraphs) “Don’t look at me,” she murmured softly, but he heard every word.             “Why not? You should be used to guys looking at you.”             “Oh, I am. Not just guys either; girls also like to look at me and mock.” Her voice was bitter, sad and wistful, and he instantly realised his mistake.             “Hang on, that’s not what I meant,” he ...

#WipItUpWednesday NZ Equestrian Spanking Romance!

Image
Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog for this week's  #WipItUpWednesday  blog hop. This week I've decided to share from my up-coming release - a spanky romance set in a horse racing stable in New Zealand with a heroine who has Tourette's Syndrome! It's currently being edited, so will be available in a month or so :)   She followed him down the aisle, dodging around the wheelbarrows parked outside the stalls, right to the end. A few young people were hard at work mucking out stalls, and Bianca couldn’t help but imagine what Clay would look like shovelling sawdust … muscles flexing, as he manhandled the rake, moving gracefully across the stable floor ...             “You can start here and work back up.” Clay took a rake off a hook on the wall and handed it to her. “I take it you know how to muck out a stall?” he asked.             Did she dare? She shook her hea...

Kiwi Equestrian Spanking Romance - Bracken Ridge

Image
It's a while since I shared my first novel - a spanking romance set in an equestrian centre in New Zealand. So for today's Saturday Spankings  I decided to bring back Anna and Jeremy. In this scene, the horse Anna has been training is in her maiden race, with jockey Josh on board. “Go Star! Go!” she screamed from the sidelines, clutching at Jeremy’s hand, squeezing it with a superhuman strength that made him wince.  “Go!” she screamed again, wild with excitement as the horse continued to gain speed, overtaking horse after horse as they raced towards the final corner. The gap between Star and the leader was lessening at an incredible rate as the horse streaked down the track, every muscle in her body working hard to propel her onwards.             “Come on Josh, keep at it boy!” her father yelled, pumping his fist into the air.            ...
