It's not a coincidence that my first two books both involve horses.
My first book, Bracken Ridge is set on a horse farm in New Zealand
and features Anna, a young woman whose family owns the farm,
and Jeremy, her lifelong friend, one of the sexiest horsemen
ever to walk the face of the earth.

Two years have now passed since first writing this book, but I can still remember my initial excitement of seeing my "baby" finally going out to be shared with the world.
I guess in part, Anna is me. Like Anna, I have always had an interest in human nature and the human psyche, and for this reason, I studied Child & Adolescent Psychology when I was in my 20s. I have also had a life-long interest in how horses can help us heal, and how they can be so successfully used for therapy. A few years ago I had the privilege of volunteering with the local RDA (Riding for the Disabled; or Riding for Developing Abilities) and this awesome experience, being able to see first-hand the incredible difference a bond with a horse makes to a person, inspired a small part of this story.
Because this was my first published book, it will always be special to me. I hope you enjoy reading it!
My second book, Rachel's Journey is also set in New Zealand; in the rural hill country of the lower South Island, where I live.
Like me, Rachel has Tourette's Syndrome, and this is her story of learning to love herself, despite her disability.
James, a rodeo cowboy protection athlete (bullfighter) is as ruggedly handsome and tough as they come, and has been her brother's best mate forever.
He's always been there when she's needed him. But now, when she needs him more than ever, can she count on him to save her?
Out of all my books, this cover is my favourite 😊
There is a sequel to this book coming soon!
