Cassie Corralled ~ PK Corey

“You tell me,” Tom said. “Do you deserve a spanking?”

PK Corey is here on my blog today with "Cassie Corralled" - book 8 in the series.

Blurb:
Cassie is still living life to the fullest, telling Allie stories about everything from long ago shooting incidents to playing laser tag with the children. Tom keeps an amused, yet watchful eye, on his lovely wife. He tries to be tolerant of Cassie’s fun loving ways, but when she decides to spend the day with people she met through the Internet, without letting him or the girls know of her plans, Tom sees red. Tired of Cassie constantly putting herself in possible danger Tom decides to hire her a driver. Cassie immediately sees this plan for what it really is; Tom wants to hire a bodyguard / watchdog / babysitter for Cassie. That’s something Cassie won’t tolerate and after quickly packing a bag, she’s gone with a roar of the engine and a squeal of the tires. In this case Cassie is determine to have her way – and so is Tom, the final decision may change life on the river forever.

“Tom, will you at least listen to me?” I asked.
“Will I listen? I always listen, you’re the one in this family that won’t listen.”  He was starting to get wound up. “You know I’ve told you I don’t want you near that woman. She’s dangerous. You’re fully aware of this, yet you spend the day with her getting drunk.”
“Drunk!” Tom knows that that few things anger me more than that accusation. “I am not drunk and you damn well know it. There is nothing wrong with Janet. She’s a friend – you’re unreasonable. We had a little to drink, we lost track of time, so what.” Obviously I was the one getting wound up now. “Hell, if I were drunk I would have thought I was fine and driven home. We knew that wasn’t the best thing to do because we had had some and we called for a ride. Maybe we should have taken Janet’s advice and just stayed there all night without calling and see if you liked that any better.”
Sometimes I have to wonder how I reached this age and not have better sense. I was not drunk, but at the same time Tom know the only time I’m likely to cuss around him is when I’ve had more that he thinks I should have.
Tom took my hand again. “I think you’ve said enough to prove my point.” He told me as we headed to the bedroom. He grabbed the ivory brush as he came by the dresser and I made one last plea.
“Tom don’t use that! Please honey, it’s not that serious.”  Obviously Tom thought that it was.
He pulled down my slacks and panties at the same time, evidently wanting to get right to the point. He pulled me over his lap and held me there for a moment without spanking. “Are you clear on why I’m spanking you?”
The only thing I was clear about was that I was mad so I didn’t answer him. He gave me two hard pops with his hand and said, “You’d best start talking to me, girl. Why are you getting this spanking?”
“Sue told you! It’s because you’re a big bully!” All right, I suppose the alcohol was doing a little of the talking.
Oh my, Tom began spanking with his hand hard enough to take my breath away. He was thorough. He covered my behind and my thighs with hard swats until I was squirming.
“You need to know,” he told me in his clipped tone, “that this spanking doesn’t really begin until you answer me.”
That quick hand spanking alone had been hard and my bottom was throbbing. Anger finally gave way to some sense and quickly told him, “I was gone too long without checking my phone and you don’t like it when I drink too much.”
“Yes, you know better on both accounts.” Then he started again with his hand. I tried to keep quiet but it was hard.
He paused and I felt him reach for the brush. “No Tom, you don’t have to use that, please. I’m sorry!”
“I’ll ignore what you’re saying as completely as you ignore me.” You don’t know how much I hate that brush! He began slowly, but he made every spank count. They were hard and firm and right on my sit spot. After about a hundred, ten by Tom’s count, he began talking. He covered the seriousness of not letting your husband know where you are and then began spanking faster as he launched into the evils of drink.

Meet PK Corey

I’m a small town southern writer, happily married to my best friend for thirty-two years now. We have two grown children and we're learning to love the empty nest. Next year will see the end of a long and satisfying teaching career and I'm anxious to spend more time writing. I didn't grow up with the desire to be a writer, but I did love to daydream. As a child, I spent most of my spare time, and quite a bit of time when I should have been doing schoolwork, either reading or making up stories. I was actual quite young when Cassie wandered into my head and began telling me her story. I've always been drawn to spanking stories, but I need a true love story with it. That's how I see Cassie and Tom - a true love story with spanking thrown in.

So first, of course, the obvious question. How did you become a writer?

I’ve made up stories in my head since I was very young. I remember making up my first spanking story around the age of four. I never actually wrote any stories down until I was in my late forties and I began to blog. Readers were very encouraging and I finally submitted my first book, Cassie’s Space in 2013.

Tell me about your latest release

Cassie Corralled is the eighth in the Cassie Space series. This book continues the adventures of a couple who actively practice domestic discipline and have throughout their forty-year marriage. This was always the type story I loved – a husband who loves his wife more than anything else in his life, but doesn’t hesitate to put her over his knee for a sound spanking if she puts herself in danger or is less than truthful with him. Through it all the love story is first.

Are you like any of your heroines?

A definite yes and no. Sometimes I think I gave too much of myself to Cassie – she can be fiery and hot headed, she’s fearless and strong. Since Cassie comes from me I feel these are my traits too – but it’s only as I’ve gotten older I feel I’ve given myself permission to be more like Cassie.

How many books have you written? Are they all spanking fiction?

I’ve published eight in the Cassie’s Space series. They are all spanking fiction, it’s what I understand and enjoy writing.
